Naked Juice: All Natural Fruit Juices and Smoothies
Extremely refreshing. A wide assortment of delicious flavors. Healthy and packed full of the good stuff your body needs and craves on a daily basis. I’m talking about Naked Juice, a product line of all natural fruit juices and smoothies blends, consisting of remarkably creative mixtures and pairings of various fruits and vegetables, loaded with essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals.
“Breakfast without orange juice is like a day without sunshine.”
With humble beginnings as far back as 1983, the Naked Juice empire evolved from a one-man smoothis operator to a local grocery store account, eventually reaching across the country and assimilating itself into health food culture and taking pride in its efforts to remain all-natural and all-delicious.
Each flavor is 100% natural, boasting no added sugar, artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. One particular flavor, aptly titled “Gold Machine”, consists of 2 golden kiwis, 2 bananas, 3 1/2 apples, 1/3 passion fruit, and 1/3 pineapple, and is subsequently boosted with green tea extract, grape seed extract, and many more additional vitamins and minerals, such as Biotin, Folic Acid, and Zinc. You’ll find similar blends make up a large portion of Naked Juice flavors, ensuring that each bottle contains an equal share of optimum flavor and healthful benefits.
All Natural Fruit Juices and Smoothies: Depending on what size bottle you purchase, you can fulfill anywhere from 1-4 recommended servings of fruit per day. A 15.2-ounce bottle contains a pound of fruit, and the 32-ounce bottle contains 2 pounds of fruit.
Naked Juice also produces 100% pure juices, such as orange juice, apple juice, and carrot juice. Additionally, the corporation has sorted its product line into various families that exhibit certain healthful benefits. For example, the Antioxidant family consists of 6 flavors: Berry Blast, Mighty Mango, Rainforest Acai, Pomegranate, and two Pomegranate blends. All Natural Fruit Juices and Smoothies are packed with various vitamins and loaded in antioxidants.
Other families include the Protein family, the Well Being Family, the Energy family, and others. Whether you choose to drink Naked Juice for the health benefits, to support natural foods, or just because they taste delicious, you’ll be doing your body a favor no matter what flavor you choose. I like to drink a combination of flavors each day, in order to strengthen my immune system with vitamins and antioxidants or to boost my protein intake, or simply to feel refreshed and energized.
I have yet to find a flavor that I dislike, except perhaps for the Vedge (a smoothies blend of various vegetables), but only because I’ve never liked vegetable juice in the first place. But my wife thinks it is spectacular, so I will take her word for it. My own personal favorites are Mighty Mango (a blend of tropical fruits) and Vanilla Chai (packed with protein).
Naked Juice can be found in the produce section of most supermarkets, but sometimes flavor selection can be sparse. For a more complete array of variety, try looking for Naked Juice in a health food store or grocery specializing in natural foods. They can also be found at the wholesale store Costco, where they are sold in packs of two 32 ounce bottles, usually at prices considerably cheaper than at the supermarket.
Naked Juice can also be found in 10 ounces, 64 ounces, and 128-ounce bottles, in addition to the 15.2 and 32-ounce bottles more commonly found in supermarkets.
Because Naked Juice and smoothies is all-natural and lacking in preservatives, it needs to be kept cold, but the shelf life is usually more than adequate, averaging about a month depending upon the particular flavor. However, you’ll probably be consuming the Naked Juice rather quickly, so shelf life is hardly an issue.
