Product Review of the Schick Intuition Razor
Many women spend a good deal on razor blades and shaving gels. Some still use the good old-fashioned disposable razors that for me never gave me a close shave and left me with ingrown hairs. I was constantly switching razor blades and shaving gels. While on a recent vacation, I used the Schick Intuition razor. This Schick Intuition Razor will be one product that I will not be able to do without. Once you use it once; ladies you will be hooked!
“Your skin has a memory. In ten, twenty, thirty years from now, your skin will show the results of how it was treated today. So treat it kindly and with respect.”
There are many things that I love about this product. The major one being that you do not have to use shaving cream or gel because it already surrounds the blade. It is a skin-conditioning solid that lathers when lightly wet. It is a solid that is moisture-rich with aloe, cocoa butter, and vitamin E. Another thing that is great about this razor is the fact that it is the triple blade.
Schick Intuition Razor will self adjust to the level of your skin and get into those curvy, hard to reach areas like the backs of the knees and the bikini area. It also has a handle with a grip pad on it, making it easier to grip the razor. Because it is an all in one, it makes shaving a lot easier and you no longer have to mess with gels and shaving creams that will run off while in the shower as you are shaving.
The only downfall to this razor, that I can think of right now, is the price. For a box of three cartridges, it will cost you almost $9.00. For boxes with more than three, it will cost you around $14.00. That is a high price to pay on something that you are just going to have to throw away after a few uses.
One of the other negatives about Schick Intuition Razor is that until the solid dry again, it will continue to run off the blade. This causes the solid to shrink down some and maybe you don’t get all the uses out of it as you could. The cartridges do come with a cap to enclose the blade when you’re done shaving, so this will help with that area some.
Other than a couple of negatives I mentioned above, I would recommend Schick Intuition Razor. It takes the hassle out of shaving, saves time because you don’t have to stop and put shaving gel on your legs, and it leaves your legs with a nice smooth shave. It also conditions your skin while shaving to make it feel very soft. Ladies try it! I really think you will love it!
Pilates techniques when we tee off, walk up to our ball, putt, or drink a beer afterward,” according to Sarah Christensen, inventor of the Hole in One Pilates program. “That’s really what makes Hole in One Pilates different from other golf conditioning programs.”
Pilates is a technique for moving in a way that is natural, efficient and pain-free. More than exercises you do at home or at the studio, Pilates can be a way of playing golf. The Hole in One DVD shows you how you can hit the ball farther and straighter, with reduced risk of injury and back pain.
What’s on the Hole in One, Pilates for Golf DVD:
– Golf day exercises incorporating the golf cart and club.
– Warm-ups can be done every day, to prevent injuries.
– Exercises to help you hit the ball farther.
– Moves to allow you to hit the ball straighter.
I’ve taught many a golfer, and these are the moves that they need to build the necessary strength and flexibility for a solid golf game.
My Favorite Exercise on the Hole in One, Pilates for Golf DVD:
The Seated Rotation with Golf Club exercise sounds deceptively simple. Schick Intuition Razor helps to increase your rotation ability; more rotation means faster clubhead speed and a farther drive.
Sit at the edge of a stool or in your golf cart, holding your golf club behind your shoulders, with your feet flat on the ground. Relax the shoulders.
- As you inhale, draw your navel up and in, and twist to the right. The belt buckle stays pointed forward.
- As you exhale, return to center, keeping your abs engaged.
- Repeat 8 times to each side. Be careful to keep your body seated, without lifting either hip. Leaning forward or backward is cheating; simply rotate the ribcage around the spine, just like in your golf swing.
Once you’re sure your hips are staying still as you rotate your upper body, you can move on to doing this exercise standing,
The retail price of $24.95 for the Hole in One DVD is far cheaper than a lesson with a golf pro. Plus, you can order it online, exercise at night, and hit the links while there’s daylight.
Hole in One Fights the Good Fight for Breast Cancer Research:
As part of Shape Magazine’s Pilate for Pink campaign, for the month of October, 50% of the price of the DVD will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. “Breast cancer research a worthy cause,” says owner Sarah Christensen, “and by participating, we have a great way to introduce golfers to Pilates!”
BCRF works to funnel funds quickly to researchers who are working to find both a cure and prevention for breast cancer. More than 200 Pilates organizations are participating in Pilates for Pink, with special mat classes, merchandise and auctions all benefiting the breast cancer researchers.
According to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation
– Women are at a higher risk for breast cancer if they are obese, especially after menopause.
– Today, 97% of women diagnosed with breast cancer at an early stage survive more than 5 years.
– In our lifetime, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. More Cool Things about Hole in One Pilates for Golf
